The NZ Red Ensign may be flown by private and merchant vessels. It may be flown on land in places or on occasions of Māori significance. This flag is printed on 100% heavy duty woven polyester fabric with a heavy duty nylon header, polyester rope and Flagmakers exclusive Swivel Clips. 

  • We use the best quality specialist fabrics, dyes and componentry
  • Designed for New Zealand's harsh climatic conditions and high UV light levels 
  • Only Flagmakers flags use exclusive Swivel Clips. These clips have been designed and developed by Flagmakers to greatly reduce the problem of twisting flagpole halyards (rope) and flag ‘rolling’ when hoisting

    Please supply your files in pdf, ai or eps formats with all vectors preserved.

    DO NOT SUPPLY BITMAP IMAGES such as JPEG GIF, BMP, PNG or TIFF unless it is a photograph. Ensure all images are embedded.

    Flagmakers flags are designed to fit Flagmakers poles and will fit most other poles however we can not guarantee the fit. Please check with us if you are unsure.

    Flagmakers poles will fit Flagmakers mounts with a 14.7mm spigot.
